Weddings

We endeavour to make your experience at St. Andrew's as pleasant and worry-free as possible. St. Andrew's on the Square is a community hall and is non-denominational.

Rental of the facility includes:

All setup and cleanup
Putting up any wedding décor you bring
Use of the full sound system
Use of the keyboard
Wedding rehearsals the evening before your event
Use of all the decorations in the building
Wheelchair access
As much consultation time as you need!

Restrictions:

Any decorations or supplies you bring must be removed the day of the event.

We must comply with fire codes -- staff will help with seating arrangements and setup plans in order to stay within these regulations.
There is no rice or confetti allowed.
There are three parking spots in the front of the building and two in the back. Guest parking will be found on the street or in the downtown parkade (there are fees for both of these services depending on the day and time -- Seymour St parkade is free on Saturdays). Please check with the staff regarding parking.

Some couples are concerned about restrictions concerning music, photography, or filming. Since St. Andrew's on the Square is not a church but rather a public building, there are no restrictions on these things.

Fees

All fees are due 3 months in advance of the event in cash or cheque payment.
There is a $50.00 cancellation fee for any event cancelled after 60 days prior to the event.

Wedding Fees

Saturday and Sunday weddings - $441.00 2 ½ hours the day of and 1 hour for rehearsal
1 hour (under 30 guests) - $126.00
Saturday weddings and receptions - 5 pm – midnight $735.00
Monday to Friday weddings - $294.00
Weekday weddings and small luncheon receptions - noon-5 pm $472.50

Wedding time frames are 9:30 am – noon, noon to 2:30, 2:30 to 5 pm, 5 to 7:30. Weddings start ½ hour into the time frame. This leaves time for the ceremony and photos in the church or in the park afterwards.

After July 1, 2010 we will have to charge HST
