Weddings & Receptions

We endeavour to make your experience at St. Andrew's as pleasant and worry-free as possible. St. Andrew's on the Square is a community hall, and therefore, it is non-denominational, if you do have to hire an officiant, just ask us We can help. (the officiant fees are not included in our price.)

Rental of the facility includes:

Information on photography, ministers and commissioners, decorators, and florists...
All setup and cleanup...
Putting up any wedding décor you bring...
Use of the full sound system...
Facility staff will play CDs or tapes for your event...
Use of the keyboard...
Wedding rehearsals the evening before your event...
Use of all the decorations in the building ...
Wheelchair access ...
Use of the kitchen, (for whoever will be Catering)and....
As much consultation time as you need!
Please note that we do have a stage that is big enough for a live band (one in which you hire....)

Restrictions

Any decorations or supplies you bring must be removed midnight on the day of the event.

All events must end at midnight in consideration for our neighbours and city regulation.
Events serving alcohol are subject to an insurance fee and appropriate licence.
We must comply with fire codes -- staff will help with seating arrangements and setup plans in order to stay within these regulations.
There is no rice or confetti allowed.
There are three parking spots in the front of the building and two in the back. Guest parking will be found on the street or in the downtown parkade (there are fees for both of these services depending on the day and time). Please check with the staff regarding parking.

Some couples are concerned about restrictions concerning music, photography, or filming. Since St. Andrew's on the Square is not a chruch but rather a public building, there are no restrictions on these things.

Fees

All fees are due 3 months in advance of the event in cash or cheque payment.
Tables covered with white paper -- $2.00 per table.
There is a $50.00 cancellation fee for any event cancelled after 60 days prior to the event.

Wedding Fees

Fees are due THREE months in advance of the Wedding Date

$420 + 6% GST ($25.20) = $445.20.

Seats 130 guests for a wedding.

Wedding and reception is $650.00+6%GST($39.00)=$689.00

4pm-midnight.

Seats 70 - 80 guests for a reception.

Receptions only are billed per hour.

We offer weddings Monday to Friday as well and its a steal!! Special Offer of $250 + 15.00 (GST ) for a grand total of $265.00.
